French daredevils hang ten at 600 metres

Now this is certainly one way of hanging ten!

A group of French daredevils have literally taken surfing to new heights after riding a surfboard across a zipline towering 600 metres above the ground.

The Flying Frenchies, a small troupe of aerial adventurers, debuted the new, vertigo-inducing sport while filming for Red Bull atop the Vercors Massif.

In the video, ‘surfers’, wearing parachutes, try to keep their balance as the board rockets across the zipline with another daredevil attached below to act as a counter-balance.

Innovator Anicet Leone described the thrill of screaming across such a height on a surf board as an “insane” experience.

“It was so crazy to surf like that after two years of dreaming about it,” Leone told RedBull.com.
