West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet mustn’t have thought he was under the camera’s ever-watchful gaze when he performed this little party trick on the weekend.
Payet decided to show off his impressive football skills by replacing a ball with a piece of chewing gum.

Three kicks and one knee of the gum follow before he gladly takes it back into his mouth.
Surely his boots were a bit dirty. Surely.
For someone earning more than $200,000 a week, this hardly seems the way to go regarding one’s use of chewing gum.
This episode does leave one question: what would have happened if the gum had hit the ground?
