FIFA offers 180,000 extra WC tickets

World Cup organisers say they will offer an additional 180,000 tickets for the upcoming competition in Brazil.

The tickets will become available at midnight in Brazil (1300 AEST) on Tuesday.

Tickets for all matches have become available due to the release of what FIFA described as "buffers in some stadiums following their delivery".

FIFA added that there had been "very little demand" for seats for people with reduced mobility, and that some of these seats were being made available to all fans.

Some of the seats would remain allocated for reduced-mobility fans, FIFA said.
