Fighters floored with double low blow

We're all used to athletes praising the Lord for a stunning performance.

But you have to wonder what the Almighty would think of this.

A new documentary about the US subculture of Christian mixed martial arts fighting features two fighters flooring one another with eye-watering, simultaneous groin blows.

The pair go hammer and tongs at each other during a bout inside a church and with neither appearing to get on top both move in for what they hope will be a decisive blow.

But perhaps divided over who should win, the hand of God seemingly intervenes with one of the fighters kneeing his rival in the groin just as the other strikes out with a below the belt punch.

The result is a hilarious double knockdown that would make any man wince.

Called "Fight Church", the documentary follows several pastors and fighters in a quest to reconcile their faith with a sport that some consider violent and barbaric.

And while we've yet to see the film, if this footage is anything to go by it will be worth viewing.
