UFC: Silva unleashes savage spinning back-fist

UFC fighter Douglas Silva de Andrade has unleashed one of the most savage spinning back-fists in recent history to stop Henry Briones at UFC Fight Night 98 in Mexico City.

Under heavy fire midway through the third, the Brazilian bantamweight lashed out at Briones with a lightning counter elbow which rocked the Californian.

Sensing the end was near, Silva moved in on Briones and ended the fight with a brutal spinning back fist.

An audible thud signalled the end for Briones as the ground rushed up to meet him and left referee Keith Peterson with no choice but to stop the fight.

Despite trading blows for the majority of the bout, the knockout stole headlines and gave Silva another win to add to his 24-1 record.
