Defending champ Nunes calls out Rousey

Defending bantamweight UFC champion Amanda Nunes has called out self-exiled superstar Ronda Rousey.

Nunes, speaking at a media event for UFC 201, told reporters she wanted her first title defence to be against Rousey if she returned to the sport.

She said it was important for her to put the spectre of Rusey to bed and "to prove to everybody one more time I deserve to be here."

But no one quite knows when or if the former postergirl for the sport will have another tilt at the UFC or when exactly that might be.

Still, Nunes had a back up in Juliana Pena, who she said she could beat "no problem".
