Warners welcome baby new girl into the world

Australia’s vice-captain David Warner and his wife Candice have welcomed a second baby girl into the world.

Candice Warner (nee Falzon), a former Ironwoman, gave birth to Indi Rae on Thursday morning.

The star opener took to Instagram to confirm the birth of a little sister for the couple’s first child, one-year old Ivy Mae.

“@candywarner1 and I welcomed beautiful little Indi Rae Warner into the world this morning. Mum was absolutely amazing,” he wrote alongside a photo of the couple with their new daughter.

He posted a second photograph of the newborn alongside his eldest daughter with the caption: “Ivy Mae has just met her little sister for the first time. Big kisses.”

Warner has been given the rest of the ODI series against India off after being replaced in the squad by Usman Khawaja.

He is expected to return for the tour of New Zealand in February.
