'Touching' moment between father and son in Little League World series

Here's a clip that'll have you tugging at tissues.

It takes us to the Little League world series … The team from Bend, Oregon was leading Italy 6-0 when pitcher Isaiah Jensen walked a batter. For those of you know nothing about baseball, Isaiah was having a wow of a game.

The team’s pitching coach, is Isaiah’s father, who decided to pump up his boys’ tires by visiting the mound and delivering a message.

“Hey, I just came out to tell you how much I love you, as a Dad and a player, ok?” Daddy beamed.

He then told his son how “awesome” he was doing but no matter what the next batter he faced was going to be his last one.

Isaiah didn’t exactly look thrilled about that, but his father reminded him to keep his head up.

Insert cynicism here. Ok it was a 'touching' moment but something tells me we wouldn’t have caught the “heart on sleeve” moment if daddy didn’t have his microphone on.

Oregon hung on to win 6-2 in their last game of the Little League World Series.
