Woman’s moment on big screen quickly goes awry

A woman had an embarrassing day at the cricket in London when her moment on the ground’s big screen gave the thousands at the ground a moment of classic physical humour.

The woman had drawn the attention of the cameras at Lord's and elicited cheers from the English crowd as she was shown making her way to her seat on the big screen.

Perhaps caught off guard by the attention from the crowd, when she eventually went to take her seat she failed to check that it was actually folded down and instead sat down hard on the floor.

This of course drew an even bigger cheer from the crowd as the woman was helped to her seat by her friend before she quickly buried her face in her hands.

Even the cricketers on the field were shown having a chuckle at her expense, including Australian batsmen Chris Rogers and David Warner.

When the camera returned to her a short time later she performed a curtsy and gave a wave to cement her place as a crowd favourite before, this time, dutifully checking her seat and sitting back down.

Commentator Mark Taylor summed it all up saying: “Funny for everyone, bar her”.
