Brisbane’s Haidee Birkett has proven her worth in the field after taking a fantastic catch in the match against the Thunder in Sydney.

The all-rounder was at deep backward square leg minding her own business when she saw a shot launched into the air moving towards her.

The 20-year-old Queenslander moved swiftly off the boundary and made a miraculous dive to make a catch and dismiss Thunder batsman Kate Blackwell.

In addition to the sublime grab, Birkett took a couple of wickets too, highlighting her all-round value.
