Warner's outfield speccy caps big day out

Is there anything David Warner can’t do at the SCG?

After scoring 130 in a knock that included 11 fours and two sixes, the Australian opener backed that up with a spectacular diving outfield catch to dismiss danger man Shoaib Malik.

With Pakistan 4-215 and still a chance of chasing down Australia’s total of 6-353, Malik looked in good touch after slogging Travis Head over long-on for six.

He looked to do the same thing the very next ball with a slog sweep but hadn’t counted on Warner who sprinted in and dived down to grab it centimetres from the ground.

A clearly pumped up Warner turned around to celebrate the moment with the crowd and who could blame him?

His love affair with the SCG includes a century before lunch in the Third Test against Pakistan, six tons in his last 11 innings in his hometown, and now an outfield speccy.
