Voges averaging over 100 in Test cricket

Australia batsman Adam Voges has lifted his Test average past 100 to go past the great Don Bradman's iconic mark.

Voges was 176 not out at stumps on day two of the first trans-Tasman Test in Wellington, boasting an overall Test average of 100.33.

The number will naturally fall if Voges is dismissed but he currently has a higher average than Bradman's 99.94.

Voges made the most of an errant no-ball call in the match.

Voges shouldered arms and was clean bowled on seven during the final over of day one at the Basin Reserve.

Umpire Richard Illingworth saved Voges by signalling no-ball but replays showed Doug Bracewell clearly had some part of his foot behind the line.

Voges went on to reach three figures in 203 balls.
