Unpacking Australian cricket's pay dispute

THE PEACE TERMS THAT ENDED AUSTRALIAN CRICKET'S PAY FIGHT

* Retention of revenue sharing. The playing group will pocket approximately $500 million over the next five years. That's 27.5 per cent of forecast revenue streams; there will also be a 2.5 per cent performance pool

* Female players included on same deal for the first time in Australian cricket. Gender equity pay model, female player payments will increase from $7.5m to $55.2m (the biggest pay rise in the history of women's sport in Australia)

* Back pay for unemployed players, who have been out of a job for almost five weeks

* An adjustment ledger that deals with revenue in excess of forecast revenue ($1.67 billion). Players to receive 19 per cent of the upside to $1.96b; beyond $1.96b they will receive 27.5

* Previous adjustment ledger paid out in full

* An additional $30m for grassroots. This fund will be administered by a committee involving both CA and the ACA

* A new Standing Scheduling Advisory group to give players a greater say on the sport's cramped schedule

* Commitment to improve the player retirement fund via a CA/ACA working group.

MINIMUM RETAINERS:

* International men: $270k (2016-17), $313k (final year of new MoU) * International women: $40k (2016-17), $87.6k (final year of new MoU)

* State men: $61.8k (2016-17), $74.5k (final year of new MoU) * State women: $11k (2016-17), $27.3k (final year of new MoU)

* BBL: $20k (2016-17), $40 (final year of new MoU) * WBBL: $7k (2016-17), $11.6k (final year of new MoU).
