The Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Stars were forced to share the points after bad weather forced a no result in the WBBL match in front of 796 brave fans at Bankstown.

The Thunder had blasted 3-92 from 10 overs when hail and rain forced players off the ground and ultimately led to play being abandoned.

Opener Rachael Haynes hit 21 before Harmanpreet Kaur (21no) and Alex Blackwell (20no) got the scoring rate motoring.
