Steyn prank has Protea cowering in fear

South African paceman Dale Steyn as is famous for his fiery outbursts as is world class bowling, but usually it’s his opponents that are on the end of his temper rather than gullible teammates.

Steyn has just removed Glenn Maxwell with a bouncer during Australia’s victory over South Africa, with wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock overcalling the paceman to take the catch.

With the relieved young gloveman expecting Steyn to congratulate him, the paceman actually goes into a rage, launching an aggressive high-five at the keeper before yelling at him.

Footage from the match shows de Kock cower in fear as Steyn yells, before the quick gives up what is actually a prank and begins laughing while hugging the keeper.
