Scot takes brilliant one-hander to save blushes after initial drop

Scottish batsman Michael Leask has been forced to take a spectacular one-handed catch after initially fumbling the far easier grab on the boundary.

With the score at 51/2 in the ninth over, Zimbabwe batsman Richmond Mutumbami timed a lofted drive sweetly out to Michael Leask at long off.

Footage shows the ball burst through the Scot’s initial two-handed attempt but some brilliant reflexes allows the airborne Scot to reach back and pluck the ball before it’s out of his reach.

However, the incredible catch was not enough to secure the minnows victory, with Zimbabwe recovering from a calamitous early run out to record an 11-run victory.
