Australian spinner Stephen O’Keefe has taken six wickets on day three of the first test against India in Pune.

O’Keefe joined illustrious company with a 12 wicket haul and continued his fine form in the subcontinent to claim 11 wickets at tea.

O’Keefe dismissed Murali Vijay (2), Virat Kohli (13), Ajinkya Rahane (18), Ravichandran Ahswin (8) and Wriddihiman Saha (5) inside 13 overs.

The most prized wicket of all was that of Kholi, with the Aussie spinner bowling the India captain without even playing a shot.

O’Keefe broke Ray Bright’s record of 7-182 in the 1986 tied Test in Chennai as the best match figures by an Australian left-arm spinner on Indian soil.
