New Zealand’s horror first Test at Lord’s continued on day two after a missed review and multiple dropped catches.

The recalled Ollie Robinson ripped through New Zealand’s batters, taking 5-39 with the visitors bowled out for 113.
When England started their innings and Ben Duckett was on 12, the left-hander received a reprieve when Rachin Ravindra dropped him at mid-wicket.

“He barely got a hand on it,” Mark Butcher said on Sky Sports.
“He’s having a torrid time this Test match. Put down Harry Brook, made a first ball duck and has now dropped another one.”
Duckett didn’t make him pay too much, finishing with 33 before he was caught in the gully.
After lunch, another shocker came from New Zealand when Emilio Gay was trapped on the pads by Matt Henry.
The Black Caps didn’t review the call and Hawkeye revealed the opener would’ve been out.

“It would have been very interesting to know why New Zealand didn’t send that upstairs,” Mike Atherton said.
“Did somebody say it hit him outside the line? Did somebody say it would’ve gone on to miss leg-stump?”
Then at 1-84, Jacob Bethell was dropped at gully by Devon Conway on 3 off Will O’Rourke’s bowling.
“What is happening to New Zealand’s fielding?,” Nasser Hussain said.
“Conway twice, Rachin Ravindra twice. New Zealand fans cannot believe what they’re seeing.”

Bethell also couldn’t make the Black Caps pay with Matt Henry bowling him on 14 off a delivery that didn’t bounce at all.
“I don’t think there’s anything Jacob Bethell could do about this,” Stuart Broad said.
However, New Zealand did recover to have England 6-129 at the time of writing.
