'Made up his mind': Bombshell Virat Kohli news emerges ahead of India Test tour of England
Virat Kohli has reportedly told the Board of Control for Cricket in India that he is planning to retire from Test cricket.
However, the BCCI have not simply accepted the champion's request, instead asking him to reconsider.
It comes as India prepares to tour England across June and July, where they will play five Test matches.

India's busy cricketing calendar continues beyond that, with a tour of Bangladesh in August, before hosting the West Indies for a pair of Tests in October.
Reports out of India suggest Kohli has been contemplating retirement since his struggles in the Border Gavaskar Trophy over summer.
The Indian Express has reported that the international superstar has "made up his mind and informed the board".
He is also yet to relent to their request.
The 36-year-old has played 123 Tests for India, scoring 9,230 runs, however he has only scored three hundreds in the last five years.
Fellow veteran Rohit Sharma recently announced his own retirement from Test cricket.
This is part of the BCCI's concern, given losing both champions of Indian cricket simultaneously would leave a chasm in their middle order.
It would also not give fans the chance to farewell Kohli, if he opts to depart without a farewell Test.
