Explosive Aussie batter Tim David fined for 'unacceptable' umpire run-in against West Indies
Australian star Tim David has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee by the ICC after he was charged with umpire dissent during the side's tour of the West Indies.
During the fifth and final T20 clash between the two sides, the big-hitting right-hander appealed to the umpire for a leg-side wide, which was not called.
David walked towards match official Leslie Reifer with his arms outstretched questioning the call in the third over of Australia's innings in St Kitts.

"That's unacceptable - if the umpire decides there was contact with the thigh, he's not in a position to question that decision," Daren Ganga said in commentary at the time.

David has been hit with a level one breach and will have one demerit point added to his disciplinary record. It was his first offence in a 24-month period.
Players face suspension if they are handed four demerit points in a two-year period.
The 29-year-old admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction, meaning there was no need for an official ICC hearing.
David starred in the 5-0 series whitewash, scoring the fastest T20I century by an Aussie player in history when he reached triple-figures from just 37 deliveries.
