'Kohli would be embarrassed': Aussie Xavier Bartlett's classy message can't stop a torrent of abuse from Indian star's fans
Australian fast bowler Xavier Bartlett has had his Instagram swarmed by thousands of angry Indian cricket fans, following his dismissal of Virat Kohli during the second ODI win in Adelaide.
The 26-year-old South Australian trapped Kohli LBW for a duck. He considered a DRS appeal before walking off for a second straight game without a run.
Bartlett celebrated with his teammates, but did nothing that would raise expectations that he would be abused.

The fast bowler has many posts on Instagram, most with between 30 and 100 comments.
However, his most recent post, which was actually made on August 1 about his time overseas playing cricket in the IPL, for Australia and holidaying, has 4500 comments.
Quite a few are gifs of Kohli and most are very clearly from Indian cricket fans.
"Virat is your father," reads one. "Virat is your father brother next match you will be finished (heart emoji) mark my words (angry face emoji)," reads another.
One simply repeats the words "Virat Kohli" 30 times.
One sane person posted: "I'm Indian, but Virat's fanbase is the most ridiculous fanbase in the world..!!". Another similarly added: "Kohli would be embarrassed by the so called Indian fans carrying on".
Bartlett took three wickets for 39 runs in the win, bringing down Kohli, Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar.
The abuse is even more peculiar, given Bartlett sung the former Indian captain's praises after the match.
"Probably one of the best white-ball players of all time," he told Fox Cricket.
"Lucky to get him, I tried to bowl an out-swinger, and it nipped back. Probably a bit of pure luck, but nice to see the back of him early."

Mitchell Starc, who dismissed the Indian great in the first match of the series, found his Instagram similarly flooded, but not to the same extent.
Kohli will hope to bounce back in the third ODI in Sydney on Saturday.
He has spoken about his aim to stick with 50-over cricket through to the 2027 World Cup, despite retiring from T20 and Test cricket.
However a pair of ducks in Australia would be hitting his confidence hard, with a full calendar year of cricket to navigate before the World Cup comes into view.
