Hussey to lead review of Cricket Tasmania

Former Test batsman Michael Hussey will lead a review of Cricket Tasmania's operations after a second successive disastrous Sheffield Shield season during which the senior coach was sacked.

Chairman of the board Andrew Gaggin on Friday announced the 41-year-old's appointment, citing extensive experience on and off field, adding a report should be ready in May.

"Hussey's brief is to review the current pathway and high performance structures and programs and to provide recommendations, where appropriate, to ensure those structures and programs are best practice and adequately staffed and funded," Gaggin said.
