Network Ten has once again been left embarrassed after Andrew Flintoff became the second player to drop a clanger while wearing a microphone during the Big Bash.

Brisbane Heat's English all-rounder was batting against the Sydney Sixers last night when he yelled out "c---" after missing a cut shot while facing Sean Abbott.

Flintoff, who has been juggling playing with commentary duties, is the second mic'd up player to be caught out swearing after Hurricanes captain George Bailey was clearly heard saying “f--- me” during a match earlier in the tournament.

Despite his outburst, Flintoff was a rare shining light for the Heat, who were knocked out of contention for the Big Bash finals after the six-wicket loss to the Sixers.

He smashed 46 off 32 balls as the Heat recovered from 4-33 to finish with a total of 8-147.

Despite the Heat reducing the Sixers to 4-91 at one point, Jordan Silk (29 not out from 23 balls) and keeper-batsman Ryan Carters (30 not out from 21 balls) led the Sixers to a comfortable victory.
