* Named man of the match in SCG Test against Pakistan earlier this month, scoring Australia's first century before lunch on day one, and the fastest Australian half-century in second innings.
* Named man of a three-match series against New Zealand in December, scoring two tons in a total of 299 for the series.
* Became the third batsman to score seven ODI tons in a calendar year, one of which was a 173 against South Africa in Cape Town in October.
