Legendary cricketer Mitchell Johnson receives stitches after nasty head cut

Former Australian Test fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has comforted fans after sharing some gruesome images of a nasty head cut. 

The legendary quick who terrorises opposition batsmen posted graphic pictures of his split-open head. 

The injury reportedly happened during a chin-up accident during a gym session.

Thankfully the grinning cricketer said he is set to make a full recovery after receiving stitches.

"If you don’t like blood and cuts then don’t look through these pics!" Johnson said in his Instagram post.

"Not the best thing I’ve ever done to myself but I’m am fine."
