Australian cricket's protracted pay war is over.

Cricket Australia (CA) and the Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA) have called a joint press conference for 4.30pm today.

The warring parties are set to announce an in-principle agreement that will ensure this month's Test tour of Bangladesh will proceed as planned and this summer's home Ashes series will go ahead.

Both parties came to an agreement earlier this week but signing off on the deal has taken longer than expected with CA and the ACA going over the finer details.

Reports say players have retained a revenue share model but it has been tinkered with to give the game’s governing body more financial security with grassroots cricket and back pay key factors.
