Clarkes reveal name of daughter

Former Aussie cricket captain Michael Clarke has revealed on social media the name of his and wife Kyly’s baby daughter.

Clarke, 34, took to Instagram today with a photo of the new family linking hands and announced the little girl had been named Kelsey Lee Clarke.

“Heaven! Kelsey Lee you are my angel,” Clarke wrote.

Kelsey Lee is the couple’s first child together and was born five weeks early on Tuesday.

Clarke said then both mother and daughter were in good health.

“Thanks to everyone for all your very kind messages,” Clarke wrote.

“Mum and daughter have both been amazing.

“Our little princess has daddy wrapped around her finger.”

The recently retired Test captain and Mrs Clarke, also 34, wed in 2012.

Clarke also made headlines today after launching a stinging rebuke of his former teammates in his captain’s diary of this years’ Ashes campaign.

The book was released this week.
