Bowler performs 'wiggly fish' celebration

Zimbabwean fast bowler Tinashe Panyangara has created one of the strangest wicket celebrations after dismissing South African opener Hashim Amla at the World Cup.

Panyangara was forced to improvise when his follow through failed him and he hit the pitch after bowling a delivery which snuck past the defences of Amla and clipped the top of the stumps.

Channelling electronic duo The Chemical Brothers' popular song 'The Salmon Dance', 29-year-old Panyangara starts wriggling from side to side as his teammates race in and crowd around.

He finally regains his feet before being embraced as the African minnows' excellent start triggered talk of an unbelievable upset.

Amla (11) and fellow opener Quinton de Kock (7) both fell cheaply in a poor start for one of the tournament's heavyweight nations.

But it was the fall of big hitting duo Faf du Plessis (24) and skipper AB de Villiers (25) which really gave Zimbabwe a sniff of a rare victory.

However, JP Duminy and David Miller have combined for a strong middle order partnership to stabilise the South African innings.
