Sam Konstas nightmare continues as Australia's top order struggles again, but take slender lead into day three

Another day led to more wickets in Barbados after the West Indies were bowled out and Australia struggled again in reply during the first Test.

A total of 10 wickets fell at Kensington Oval with Australia leading by 82 runs at the end of day two.

The West Indies started at 4-57 and were bowled out for 190, holding a slim 10-run lead.

Shai Hope (48) had the highest individual score before he was given out in controversial circumstances following Alex Carey's catch.

Mitchell Starc was the pick of the bowlers with 3-65.

The West Indies had a nightmare start in the field yet again when Sam Konstas was dropped twice on zero.

Australia hardly pushed on though as Usman Khawaja (15) and Konstas (5) both departed, making it 2-34.

On SEN Cricket, Bryce McGain described Konstas' innings as "painful".

"He struggled through that," he said.

Josh Inglis looked like he was building to a decent start before he was embarrassingly bowled for 12 after leaving the ball to Jayden Seales.

The final wicket to fall was Cameron Green who once again edged to the slips for 15.

Beau Webster (19) and Travis Head (13) finished not out with Australia 4-92 at stumps.

Post-match, Starc described the Kensington Oval pitch as "indifferent".

"I think throughout the two days it's shown if you bowl the right areas for long enough there's enough chances ... the bowlers have been in the game throughout the two days and no doubt it will continue tomorrow," he said.

The fast bowler added "if you can withstand some pressure there are some runs there, it's just not going to be easy" after Roston Chase and Hope combined for a 67-run partnership earlier in the day.
