David Warner receives 'wonderful farewell' after 'disappointing' final MCG Test dismissal
David Warner waved to the crowd as he walked off the MCG after what was likely his final Test innings at the ground.
Having made a special double-century against South Africa in last year's Melbourne Test, Warner managed 38 in the first innings, and was bowled chopping on for just six off 16 balls on day three.
Warner was the third wicket in what was a disastrous start to Australia's second innings, which saw the Aussies slump to 4-16 in just the 16th over.

During his walk off, a disappointed Warner raised his bat to salute the MCG crowd, indicating that it would be his final time there for the Test side with bat in hand.
"The final time David Warner will walk off the Melbourne Cricket Ground as an Australian Test (better)," Adam Gilchrist said on Fox after Warner's dismissal.
"He cannot believe it."

Earlier, Pakistan claimed the wickets of opening partner Usman Khawaja for a second-ball duck, and then Marnus Labuschagne for four in a three-over spell before the lunch break.
Warner spun around and gave a thumbs-up as he acknowledged the entire 30,000-strong crowd. Warner made 912 runs at the MCG across his Test career.
Despite his disheartening dismissal, Warner still provided a smile for two children, handing his gloves to the pair on the boundary line before heading down into Australia's rooms.
"He'll be disappointed with the way that finishes, David Warner, but that's a wonderful reception, a wonderful farewell from a crowd that has enjoyed so much of his entertainment," Gilchrist said.
"He'll go down into that changeroom and be so disappointed that that part of the journey is over and this innings is over.
"He's a future hall of famer, there's no doubt about that."
