Australia has won the third and final T20 match against England by five wickets, with Mitchell Marsh finishing a successful chase.

England had already won the series by taking victory in the first two matches but Marsh ensured that the visitors claimed some momentum in Southampton for the upcoming ODI clashes. Australia's win also gave them the No.1 T20 ranking at England's expense.

England posted 6-145, led by 55 from opener Jonny Bairstow, before Marsh's unbeaten 39 (36 balls) steered Australia home with three balls to spare. Marsh was named man of the match as the Aussies finished 5-146.

Captain Aaron Finch also scored 39 atop the Australian batting order. Ashton Agar (16 not out) finished the chase with Marsh and also took a wicket with his left-arm orthodox spin. Marsh and Agar saved Australia after a gradual collapse from 1-70 to 5-100.

Leg-spinner Adam Zampa was the pick of the Australian bowlers, claiming 2-34.
