'Jaw is on the floor': Veteran King Green left flat as brutal KO stuns UFC 313
Brazilian star Mauricio Ruffy wasted no time when he stepped into the octagon on Sunday as he delivered a brutal hit to knock out King Green.
Green entered the octagon off the back of a "blooper" defeat against Paddy Pimblett with the hopes of taking home a victory for his 50th career bout.
But the battle quickly became a statement victory for former MMA sensation Ruffy, who unleashed a damaging wheel kick to claim his seventh consecutive win.

The spinning kick left those in the stands in awe while the fight's commentary panel projected the action to go down as a strong contender for knockout of the year.
"A stunning spinning kick to fell the King," Jon Anik said on commentary.
"My jaw is on the floor... that was always one of King Green's biggest issues, keeping his hands down. You can't do that with a guy like this in front of you," Daniel Cormier added.

Ruffy's sights in the UFC octagon were not going to finish with Green as he declared his intention to continue climbing the ranks as a lightweight fighter.
The 28-year-old called on ninth ranked Beneil Dariush to meet him next in the octagon.
"Las Vegas, Mauricio Ruffy wants to fight Beneil Dariush," he said through a translator post-fight.
"A fight night main event? What do you think?"
