Tim Tszyu's wife Alexandra delivered a memorable moment as her husband floated the possibility of their children one day joining the family legacy inside a boxing ring.

The former world champ had a wide smile plastered on his face following his fourth-round TKO win over American Joey Spencer in Newcastle, happy to be back in the winner's books following successive losses last year.

Tszyu endured a rough 2024, with an ugly cut and split decision saw him lose the WBC and WBO super welterweight titles to Sebastian Fundora.

He was then defeated by Bakhram Murtazaliev in October and desperately needed this win to regain some momentum, which he did in a dominant win over Spencer.

"I hope I teach people if they drop and they go on the floor and when shit hits the fan, you can always get back up and rise to the top," Tszyu said.

"For me, it was proving it to myself, and I proved it to everyone in the world.

"I learned from my mistakes, you don't go in like a hot-head from the first round and just abandon everything. I had one hell of an opponent in Joey Spencer, so I'm blessed to share the ring with him and he's going to have plenty more opportunities in the future."

Keith Thurman appears to be next on the radar for the Aussie star, who told the American to "sign the contract" before laughing along with the crowd.

But perhaps the best moment of the post-fight interview came when Tszyu was asked about his family's record over the years, with the combined record between him, Kostya and Nikita extending to 13-0 in Newcastle and 51-0 in Australia.

The 30-year-old would float the possibility of his future kids stepping into the ring and his wife wasn't having a bar of it.

"Hopefully this is not the last time I'm here," Tszyu said.

"But if it is, it has been one hell of a show, it's been one hell of a journey from my father to myself and my brother and hopefully when I have little kids we can continue this.

Alexandra responded by screaming "no" multiple times to plenty of laughs from those inside the ring and in the crowd.

Tszyu's professional record moved to 25-2 as a result of the win over Spencer, who was outclassed by the Aussie sensation.
