'Really disappointed': Oleksandr Usyk stays put on throne as Tyson Fury falls in second career defeat

Tyson Fury has fallen for the second time in his career at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk as the Ukrainian star retains his world heavyweight championship titles.
Hoping to avenge his only professional defeat, Fury was defeated by a unanimous decision with the final score, 116-112.
The heavyweight title rematch went out of favour for Fury, who remained in strong contention to take over the throne throughout the thrilling 12-round bout.

Fury found plenty of success with his shots in the early rounds as he kept Usyk at bay, but his activity in the ring quickly began to descend as his rival ignited his attack.
In the second round, Usyk came forward to hold the centre of the ring before pushing Fury back towards his corner.
The 37-year-old appealed to the referee in the third round as he gestured that Fury had laid a hit into the back of his head, prompting Fury to push forward and catch the Ukrainian off guard.

The incident was not enough to throw Usyk off course as he raised his power to a new level and set a new pace for the fight.
As the final bell sounded, Usyk was declared the winner with Fury wasting no time departing the ring as his rival began his victory speech.
"I win, it's good," Usyk said in the ring after the fight.
"Listen, he's a great fighter, a great opponent.
"It's a great 24 rounds, unbelievable 24 rounds for my career."
The victory brings Usyk's clean career record to 23-0 including 14 knockouts, while Fury is left to ponder if the bout will mark the end of his time in the ring.

Having been defeated twice by Usyk this year, 'the Gypsy King' now stands at 34-1-2.
"How did Tyson only get four rounds in this fight? How is this possible?" Fury's fight promoter Frank Warren said.
"Nuts. I don't get it. Really disappointed.
"I thought he was in control of the fight, I thought he boxed really well and had Usyk on the back foot for a lot of the fight."
