Eddie Hearn promises contract to new Aussie sensation after courageous loss to George Kambosos Jnr
George Kambosos Jnr has made a return to the winner's circle after a unanimous victory against fellow Aussie Jake Wyllie at Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney.
But Wyllie appeared to be the big winner out of it all after Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn promised him a contract.
It marks a crazy week for Wyllie who was called up to fight the former IBO lightweight title holder on five days notice.

Wyllie had originally purchased tickets to see the fight but was made the new headliner after the withdrawal of Daud Yordan.

In the lead up to the fight, Wyllie asked Hearn for his money back for the tickets that he'd purchased and following his loss he wanted to know if that request was successful.
"I tell you something better he can give me, where's my contract?" Wyllie said on DAZN.
Hearn replied straight away: "One thing I promise to you, you will have a contract from Matchroom Boxing, well done."
Kambosos' Sydney return came after he lost the IBO title to Vasyl Lomachenko in Perth in May.
The main event went for 12 rounds with Kambosos copping a cut to his eye during the fight.
Kambosos' team did great work in the corner to stop the bleeding and Kambosos went on to claim his victory with the judges scoring it 117-111, 117-111 and 115-113.
Wyllie did receive a standing ovation after the fight's completion though.
"It was a good war, we gave Sydney a good war, he's a tough kid," Kambosos said post-fight.
Hearn admitted a fight with IBF world super lightweight champion Richardson Hitchins is on the cards for June.
"If that cut heals up, we've got a date, end of June, and that is the date, he's got to be ready for that date. If he is, we're ready to move forward for George Kambosos to fight for the world championship in America to try and become a two division world champion," he said.
"I think that's what he deserves."
