Ben Savva isn’t impressed with Diego Ramirez on Stan’s commentary.
“He felt the power and just wasn’t interested. Collect the purse. The reality is he could have fought on,” Savva said.

It’s a body shot that seemed to do the trick and after a bit of confusion referee Phillip Holiday stops the fight.
“It’s a bit disappointing, I wanted to put on a better show for you guys,” McIntyre tells his home crowd.
Ramirez was a late replacement for Bohdan Sobol, the Ukrainian who withdrew after an injury in training.
McIntyre has his hands on the WBC Australasian super middleweight belt.

It’s time for The Money Show!
Brisbane product Max ‘Money’ McIntyre is ready to go for his WBC Australasian super middleweight fight with Diego Ramirez of Argentina.
McIntyre is 10-0 with nine knockouts.
His manager, Mick Francis, has just wandered over to me and assured me it’s going to be a good fight.
Francis calls him a “rockstar” born for the big stage.
Ramirez is a decade older than the 21-year-old Aussie.

The Irishman defends his WBC Australasian welterweight title with a tough points win over Jyl Wright.
Remarkably, Keating then reveals he broke his hand in the buildup to this fight but refused to pull out.
He remains unbeaten.

One would assume Danny Keating is well ahead on points but credit to Jyl Wright for resetting and staying in this contest.
He has well and truly earned the respect of the crowd with his toughness as we enter the sixth of eight rounds.
Keating might be happy to settle for a points victory.

Danny Keating is going to work and the big Irish contingent in the crowd are loving it!
He is a classy, unbeaten fighter with a reach advantage and Jyl Wright is struggling to hold on, with his legs looking a little wobbly.
