Chris Eubank Jr slaps egg on Conor Benn's face during heated press conference
It's been dubbed Britain's biggest boxing grudge match and their face-off in Manchester on Wednesday morning (AEDT) only added to it.
Chris Eubank Jr and British rival Conor Benn met before their clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26.
The bout comes more than 30 years after the boxers' fathers — Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank — met twice in the ring in one of Britain's great rivalries.

And their sons did little to douse the supposed animosity.
Heated words were exchanged, with Benn saying "his dad don't even like him" in reference to his rival.

When they came face-to-face, Eubank Jr stood in front of Benn for mere seconds before he slapped an egg to the side of Benn's face.
Benn was furious as security rushed the stage, grabbing and holding him back.
After being taken off stage, Benn wrote on X: "That's the only shot you'll land on me you f---ing prick 2 rounds you are finished @ChrisEubankJr."
Eubank Jr sent his own message that read: "Apparently egg contamination was the reason for his two failed drugs tests. So I contaminated him with an egg."
Benn initially suggested back in 2022 that his positive tests could have been due to his consumption of too many eggs.
Benn and the 35-year-old Eubank Jr were scheduled to fight at London's O2 Arena in October 2022 in a catchweight bout, but it was called off after Benn failed a voluntary doping test.

The 28-year-old Benn, who is undefeated, battled for two years to clear his name and his suspension was lifted in November.
"Chris can say what he wants. The bottom line is, his dad don't even like him. You couldn't even pay that man to sit in his corner," Benn said in reference to Eubanks' father not being in attendance.
"Do you know what I just can't take him seriously," Benn added. "Just look at his career every time he's stepped up he's failed. This is the end of your career.
"I'm 28, you choose to fight a welterweight over [Hamzah] Sheeraz, Janibek [Alimkhanuly], [Carlos] Adames. Anybody with a world title. You're going to get rendered unconscious by a welterweight."
Eubank Jr responded: "You guys sprung it on us about the rehydration clause. I like the challenge. When Eddie and Connor started demanding there was a rehydration clause for this fight, guess what I said? 'Show me the money.'"
Benn will reportedly have to move up from welterweight to fight Eubank at middleweight.
Their fathers fought each other in 1990 and 1993.
