IBF super welterweight champion Bakhram Murtazaliev has taken aim at Tim Tszyu, stating "he talks a lot" ahead of their fight.

The Australian and Russian will battle in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, October 20 with Murtazaliev defending his title.

Speaking to media during the week, Murtazaliev described Tszyu as "the most hyped name in boxing" before declaring he'll beat him.

With the hype around Tszyu, Murtazaliev's name may be overlooked despite his undefeated steak of 22 fights.

However, speaking to Fight Hype, the Russian wasn't bothered by that perception.

"I don't care who is overlooking me," he said.

"I am here to fight and the ring will show who is who.

"Everything is in the hands of God. He (Tszyu) talks a lot.

"And on fight night we will know who is the better man."

In classic pre-fight boxing talk, Murtazaliev went on to declare he'd finish Tszyu by knockout: "If I connect ... it's going to be a smart war."

"You can talk a lot before the fight. But doing it is completely different story."
