Chalmers takes silver in 100m freestyle

Australian favourite Kyle Chalmers has been beaten in the 100m freestyle final at the Commonwealth Games.

Chalmers took the silver in a dead heat with South African Chad le Clos, with Scotland's Duncan Scott winning gold in Sunday night's final.

Olympic champion Chalmers' teammate Cameron McEvoy finished fourth and another Australian, Jack Cartwright, came sixth.
