Jake Paul sends Tyron Woodley crashing into the canvas with brutal knockout
Social media star Jake Paul has defeated former UFC champion Tyron Woodley with a sixth-round knockout at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
While leading the first five rounds by five points on the scorecard, it was inevitably Paul's counter right hand that caught Woodley flush which sealed the victory early ahead of their scheduled eight rounds.
In a relatively boring fight until the final moments, another critical move included a stray elbow from Woodley that left Paul with a bleeding gash on his forehead.

There was also plenty of clinching between the competitors in rounds one to four which unimpressed fans booed and labelled "hugging" online.
The fight comes four months since the pair first met in the ring, with Paul scoring a narrow split-decision victory. His rematch win now brings his record against Woodley to 2-0.
Paul was initially set to take on Englishman, Tommy Fury, before he withdrew because of injury two weeks out.
This continues Paul's unbeaten run, claiming a fifth consecutive professional fight win. The 24-year-old has now knocked out every opponent he has faced.

In choosing an opponent for his next fight, Paul fired at UFC fighters Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal who were both present at the arena.
Paul was incredibly vocal post-fight as he called out those that doubted him.
"It was a tough fight. The blood was getting in my eye from when he elbowed me. I got the job done. I was setting the shot the whole fight. He didn't see it coming... like a lumberjack, timber.
"It's got to be the best moment of my life. Look at the year I just had. Four fights, I've knocked out every single person I've fought.
"[Jorge] Masvidal and Nate Diaz - you are b----- for leaving this arena. I know you don't want that s----. I'll take you next."
