Beer pong player lands best dunk ever

It's the drinking game that combines two of the great past times - beer and ping pong.

And now a US college student has earned the plaudits of contemporaries – and become known as the game's Michael Jordan – after making a spectacular dunk shot.

Taking a run-up at the ping pong table, the man leapt full length before slamming the ball into the beer cup as he flew past.

Even more impressive was the fact his head only cleared the table by centimetres after a back-bending flip.

Whether the trick would pass in a game is highly debatable, given the rules state that teams of players throw from opposite ends of the table.

But either way the impressive act of athleticism is worthy of a toast, given the length of the dive and size of the target.
