Mills turned into NBA road kill by LeBron James

Boomers and Spurs star Patty Mills has been turned into the NBA equivalent of road kill after trying to stop a rampaging LeBron James during San Antonio’s loss to Cleveland over the weekend.

James drove aggressively to the rim during a fast break in the fourth quarter when Mills, who at 183cm and 84kg is dwarfed by the 203cm, 113kg American, tried to reach in to foul the four-time NBA MVP.

Footage shows James bump the Australian to the floor before completing the lay-up to complete a classic ‘and one’ play with Mills’ foul also earning him a free throw.

James scored 29 points while Mills had four points and two assists as the Cavaliers beat the Tim Duncan-less Spurs, 117-104.

There was better news for the other Australian in action, with James’ teammate Matthew Dellavedova finishing with 15 points and three assists in just over 24 minutes on court.
