Former NBL champion and MVP winner ruthlessly cut by Brisbane Bullets after tumultuous stint
The Brisbane Bullets has made a ruthless decision to cut high profile import Jaylen Adams are just 13 games.
Adams previously won the NBL with the Sydney Kings in 2022 and was named MVP that year.
The American-born Adams had a career in the NBA from 2018 to 2021 with Atlanta and Milwaukee.

He was trumpeted as a major signing for the Bullets in July but it's ended in a brutal decision. He averaged a career-low 12.8 points a game.

Bullets chief executive Malcolm Watts explained it was important the club acted quickly to reshape the roster in a statement that confirmed Adams' departure.
"We are making quick, decisive moves to ensure our import spots are filled with elite talent as soon as possible," Watts said.
"Our club, our fans and our partners deserve a team that represents Brisbane with pride and professionalism.
"There will be two major announcements coming in the immediate future."

Adams' release came immediately after the Bullets lost 113-84 to the New Zealand Breakers. The point guard had just two points and two assists from 17 minutes of game time.
The 29-year-old was benched on October 15 against Perth Wildcats for behavioural reasons.
