Ben Simmons’ NBA debut is in major doubt following news the No.1 draft pick has broken a bone in his foot.
Simmons broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot when he went over on his ankle during a Philadelphia 76ers training session.

The Australian star must now await further test results before he sits down with his team to evaluate his short-term future.
With the season less than a month away, it appears highly unlikely Simmons will play in the 76ers opening match.
After being the top pick in June’s draft, Simmons has bulked up, adding a reported 15kg to his frame.
