Baseballer smashes own windscreen with home run blast

Powered by

Brandon Thomas has taken the art of hitting a home run to a new level by smashing the window of his own car with a monster blast.

Thomas, a member of the Gateway Grizzles minor league team, would have initially been thrilled to have launched one out of the ground.

That joy would have been tempered when news filtered through that the ball he hit did irrevocable damage to his truck’s windscreen.

Barry Bonds holds the major league record with 762 home runs, but not even he could claim to have done what Thomas did.

Let’s just hope he got a lift home and the Grizzles were able to find someone to replace his windscreen free of charge.
