Baseball fan cops vicious blow to head

A woman has copped a vicious blow to the head while making her way to her seat during a Major League Baseball game.
Footage from the Pirates-Cubs match shows Chicago batter Starlin Castro slice a foul ball that flies above the catcher and home plate umpire and crashes into the back of a woman’s head in the first row of Pittsburgh’s PNC Field.
The woman, who was standing close enough to the safety net for the ball to hit her, immediately slumps to the ground as a result of the blow.

The nasty incident caused the match to be delayed by 23 minutes as the woman was placed in a stretcher and taken out of the stadium.
She was reportedly conscious with one of her friends giving the crowd the thumbs up.
