Baseball fan catches foul ball with beer cup

Freak occurrences happen all the time in the sporting world but what was witnessed at a recent MLB game takes the cake.

During the match between the Atlanta Braves and the San Diego Padres, fans were treated to a feat you’ll probably never see again.

The Braves’ Ender Inciarte hit a foul ball high into the stands, where a woman seemed to be minding her own business while enjoying a cold adult beverage.

Gabby DiMarco was casually sipping her beer when she somehow managed to catch the ball right in her cup.

Di Marco then stood up and presented her cup to the screaming crowd, with fellow fans paying homage to the rare moment.

She gained even more recognition when she proceeded to skol her drink with the ball still in the cup.

Di Marco’s friends and fellow spectators took out their phones to film her celebration and within minutes the videos of her downing the beer went viral.

Fans at the ground had a chance to cheer for something considering their team, the Padres, got absolutely smashed by the Braves 14-1.
