AFL round one tips: Fears embattled Tigers may not win a game as Blues backed for MCG rout
Richmond fans are set for another horror AFL season if Matthew Lloyd's grim forecast is anything to go by.
The proud club that won three premierships between 2017 and 2020 is a shadow of its former self after losing a stack of experienced players.
The Tigers won just two games under new coach Adam Yze last year and collected the wooden spoon.

They kick off their 2025 campaign on Thursday night at the MCG, but not a single one of Nine's tipsters think the Tigers can beat Carlton.
That is despite the fact the Blues are missing gun key forward Charlie Curnow, while young gun Elijah Hollands has taken personal leave.

And looking further than Thursday night's game, Lloyd has cast doubt on Richmond beating any other team this year.
"Richmond lost over 1000 games of experience last year, Dustin Martin headlining that," Lloyd told Nine's Today.
"And they had three or four (other) key players walk out on them to join other clubs.
"They are a very young side, they've got three 19-year-olds debuting tonight, so that just shows where they are at.
"Carlton should be far too strong. Carlton should be aiming to play top-four football, and most people would think Richmond are probably the wooden spooners and finish last.
"Many are asking the question, will Richmond win a game of football this year? That's how young they are this season."
The tipping panel have also unanimously backed Hawthorn to down Essendon on Friday night, following the Hawks' big win over Sydney in Opening Round.
The Swans host Brisbane in a grand final rematch at the SCG on Saturday afternoon. Only two of the seven tipsters think the Swans can bounce back and win.
