GWS Giants and Richmond dominate State of Origin squads as Victoria and All-Stars reveal team lists

Richmond and the GWS Giants have dominated both the Victoria and All-Stars squads for the AFL's State of Origin Bushfire relief clash.

Both the Tigers and Giants had an AFL-high six players selected, with Collingwood and Brisbane also well-represented with five players each.

The Tigers' selections were headlined by Norm Smith Medallist Dustin Martin as well as club captain Trent Cotchin, while the Giants stars selected included Jeremy Cameron, Josh Kelly and Stephen Coniglio.

Carlton, Essendon, Melbourne and the Gold Coast Suns were the least represented sides, with all four teams having one player each across both squads.

There was only a single criteria to meet for the two premiership-winning coaches, with a requirement to pick a minimum of one player from each AFL club across the two sides.

Each AFL club nominated eight players, four each for Victoria and the All-Stars squads, who are fit and eligible to be selected to play in the charity match.
