Adelaide's Matt Crouch reportedly involved in scuffle with Power fan during Showdown

Adelaide midfielder Matt Crouch is reportedly being investigated by South Australian police after an incident involving a Port Adelaide fan during Saturday night's Showdown.

When the Crows were walking off the ground, it is alleged that the Power fan was hurling abuse towards the player over the race.

Then, it is alleged that Crouch knocked that patron's hat off his head.

It is now reported that the fan has approached police for further investigation.

While the exact act was not caught on camera, footage has emerged showing a fan throwing his hands in the air and looking around to see if anyone else witnessed the alleged act.

It is yet another act that has raised eyebrows during Showdown 56.

Houston received a five-week ban for that bump on Rankine, the tribunal confirmed on Tuesday night.

There were also reports of racial abuse towards Power forward Willie Rioli from a Crows fans online.

Meantime, Port Adelaide mascot 'Thunda' was also punched in the face by a minor during the night, which caused the man inside the costume to suffer a blood nose.

Police are calling for any witnesses of the alleged act between Crouch and the fan to come forward.
